History
SR 7's former terminus was in downtown Columbus. It has since been truncated east of it since SR 46 was rerouted around the city.
Near
Dupont, Indiana, there's a
ford in the road that was an integral location on
Morgan's Raid. This ford has never been bridged, and the road is impassible when the water is high. At regular and low levels, cars drive through it daily.
